Forex genuine online trading is much different than the picture most "gurus" paint in their promotional emails. The main problem with these individuals is that they subscribe to the "something for nothing" epidemic in the world today. We live in a fast food culture and we want everything yesterday. Using this sensationalist marketing, many "gurus" many people believe that they can make millions and billions of dollars overnight in the Forex market as long as they have the right system in place. Well, I'm here to give you a reality check and help you understand what you can truly expect in the foreign exchange market.

Who Are These Gurus?

If you spend any amount time reading about the Forex market or subscribing to newsletters, you undoubtedly hear about a new "guru" every other day. You get emails that go something like this... "Dear Friend, Are you tired of struggling to make money in the Forex market? World renowned trader Larry Smith has discovered the secret of unlocking riches in the Forex market. By using a simple technique that the brokers don't want you to know about, you too can start making more money than you know what to do with."

Sound familiar? The problem is the do really someone that you've never heard of and they basically just changed the name of the guru and the system from last week's email selling some other program.

If you've never been subjected to this kind of marketing in the currency trading market, you should be prepared for it.

So is it realistic? Of course not! Most of this crap is...well...crap. The vast majority of legitimate programs sellers do not use these techniques because they have some type of integrity.

Is it Easy?

Most of these guys would have you believe that trading in the Forex market is really easy. In reality, it is not easy and it takes a fair bit of trial and error to get right. You'll probably have to experiment with different systems and different Forex trading brokers before you find the right mix.There really isn't a silver bullet to speak of.

What is Forex Genuine Online Trading Like?

The reality of trading is that it can be a very lucrative way to make a living. However, this is something that you're going to need a large amount of capital for. Most of the time, you can't win a large amount of money unless you have thousands of dollars to invest. The guys who make the most money have at least $10,000 to trade with and in most cases, $50,000 to $100,000 or more. You can make some decent money, even make a living with less, but if you plan on getting rich, you're probably already going to have to have some money to begin with.

The trading can also vary significantly from one case to the next. Depending on the type of system that you have, you might find yourself spending hours in front of the computer screen waiting for the right setup. Other trading systems only require you to check in with the market for 15 minutes or so a day. Everyone's experience can vary.

How to Make it Work

If you're truly interested in making it work in the Forex market, you're going to have to spend some time researching and practicing. Start out by reading the definition of foreign exchange , learn some different trading systems and then open your first demo Forex account . From there, you'll be able to open a live account, once you feel comfortable with how your trading has progressed.
