This company is one of the more well-known Forex trading training companies out there and you may be considering taking a course with them. The Online Trading Academy is a company that allows you to learn how to be a trader from the comfort of your own home. They not only have courses on Forex, but also on trading stocks, options, futures and real estate.

Forex Courses

With this particular Forex trading school, you can take a few different courses. They have a Forex Trader Part 1 and Part 2 course. If you are a newbie and you want to learn the basics of the Forex market and how to trade it, this is the one you need to check out.

After taking those courses, you could elect to take the advanced courses known as the Extended Learning Track or XLT Forex. With these courses, you learn from the Online Trading Academy over a period of several months. This is the way to go if you are already proficient with the Forex market and you really want to take it to the next level.

Cost

When you are thinking about taking a course from the Online Trading Academy, one of the first things that you may notice is the price. This is definitely not your typical, cheap Forex training. For the Forex trader course, Part 1, you will have to pay $1995. This gives you two days of Forex trading training.

If you want to go to Part 2, that will set you back $2995. This one gives you four days of Forex online training.

Then when you get up into the advanced courses, this is when you will really have to get your pocketbook out. For this course, you have to pay $6000 for the first three months and $500 a month afterwards. You could also elect to pay $10,000 for the first three months and then you can take the course as much as you want after that.

Basically, if you're about to embark on Forex training with Online Trading Academy, you better be a) very serious about Forex trading and b) very well-funded.

Self Study Courses

If you do not want to go through the traditional online seminar to learn, you can also pursue self-study courses. They have a number of CDs and software products that can teach you about the Forex market at your own pace. These are definitely the cheaper way to go as they only cost around $50 for most of the products.

Value

The value of these courses is open for debate with many people. If you are already an experienced trader, you will most likely think that the first two courses really aren't worth $6000 of your money. However, if you are just getting started or you know nothing about Forex, they can be very valuable. This is basically like taking a college course about Forex and it teaches you everything you need to know from the beginning.

The advanced course is very comprehensive and covers a lot of material. It does not discover the basics of the Forex market and it gets into specifics about trading strategies and how to use trading tools. If you have the money, this one can definitely be worth it.

They definitely have a lot of happy customers, which probably wouldn't be the case if they charged $6000 or more for crap.

If you are considering getting involved with Online Trading Academy, you should probably check out some of their CDs and other products first. This will give you an idea of what to expect from the Forex online training without shelling out a big chunk of change.
