Well then, try to ignore the name and the Xtreme marketing campaign that comes with the sale page. If you can get past those factors, you might actually find a decent Forex trading robot underneath.

Risk

One of the nice things about this piece of Forex software is that you can easily control the risk settings. The default risk is one percent of your account balance, which is unusually low for most robots.

With a lot of the robots out there, they like to bump the risk up to 20 to 40 percent so they can magnify results in the short term. However, this usually ends up blowing up your account in about a month or less. With this one, you can trade manual lot sizes or you can base it on a percentage of your account balance.

Performance vs. Value

The performance of this expert advisor has been pretty steady since it was released. On top of that, the basic version of the software only costs $77. You could easily spend that on a nice meal these days, so to get a tool that you can potentially use to create passive income, that is a pretty nice deal.

Caution

A word of caution about this particular robot...you will be upsold after you buy the initial product. They have several upsells after the first buy and they try to get you to part with more of your money. Since they only charge $77 for the original product, this is somewhat acceptable. Some of the bonuses might be worth your time, depending on your goals as a trader. However, if you think that the upsells are too expensive, you will be fine with the original version of the Pip Poacher.

One of the upsells presents you with the ability to have your expert advisor linked into a server provided by the broker. This automatically updates the settings to your robot when the developer changes that settings based on market conditions. This can come in handy if you like to change your trading style when the market does.

The Verdict

Overall, I would recommend trying this particular robot. It's really cheap and it also shows some promise when it comes to consistently bringing in winning trades. If you don't like it, you can always send it back and get the standard refund.
